Senior Production Supervisor – Heavy Manufacturing

\nOur client is a major manufacturer of large, highly engineered products with a strong backlog and long-term production demand .
\n \nIts east central Iowa operation is one of two major manufacturing facilities supporting this division.
\n \nThat creates an opportunity for an experienced production leader to take on a highly visible role in an operation that matters.
\n \nThis is hands-on manufacturing leadership.
\n \nYou'll lead people and production in a large-scale environment involving welding, fabrication, assembly and industrial finishing , with responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, productivity and developing the people around you.
\n \nYou'll spend time where manufacturing happens—working with frontline leaders and employees, solving problems, removing obstacles and keeping production moving safely and effectively.
\n \nWe're looking for someone who has progressively taken on greater responsibility in manufacturing and understands how to get results through people , not simply manage a schedule.
\n \nExperience in welding, fabrication, assembly, heavy manufacturing or similarly complex operations would translate particularly well.
\n \nA bachelor's degree is preferred, but demonstrated manufacturing leadership matters more.
\n \nThe operation runs multiple shifts, and opportunities exist for leaders who are comfortable working in a demanding, high-volume manufacturing environment where occasional overtime and weekend coverage are part of the reality.
