Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Product Designer - Web. The right candidate will contribute to the development of exceptional digital user experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role transforms business goals, brand strategy, and user insights into intuitive, conversion-focused experiences that enhance engagement and usability throughout the customer journey. This is an in-office role located in Arlington, TX. A portfolio link must be attached to your resume to be considered for this role.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead end-to-end UX design for digital experiences, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and final design executionTranslate marketing objectives, brand strategy, and customer insights into intuitive navigation, layouts, and interaction models that support engagement and conversionCollaborate with product managers, engineers, content strategists, and digital marketing teams to deliver cohesive experiences aligned with business goalsTranslate complex operational workflows and business requirements into intuitive user flows journey maps, interaction models, and interface designsCreate high-fidelity prototypes/mock-ups that enable efficient development and implementation, and support responsive and accessible design standardsApply and evolve enterprise design systems, visual standards, and accessibility guidelines to maintain consistency across platformsFacilitate usability testing and moderate feedback sessions and iterative design reviews to refine experiences and improve adoptionLeverage analytics, A/B testing insights, and user feedback to continuously improve performance, usability, and conversion outcomesOptimize designs for SEO, performance, and cross-device responsiveness while ensuring alignment with technical and platform constraintsProvide strategic UX consultation across cross-functional teams and initiativesSupport continuous improvement initiatives by identifying workflow enhancements and UX optimization opportunitiesSupport documentation and governance efforts related to UX standards, design patterns, and web experience guidelinesConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnightRegular and reliable attendanceQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Web Design, or equivalent field required6–8+ years of progressive UX or product design experience focused on customer-facing websites or digital platformsExtensive showcase portfolio featuring innovative, complex products that have shippedAdvanced understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and digital marketing best practicesExperience designing features and end-to-end experiences for web-based products or applications across desktop, mobile, and responsive environmentsExperience building and evolving web design systems, with advanced proficiency in FigmaComfort with experimentation, conceptual thinking, and translating ideas into a compelling product visionData-driven approach to design, with experience using testing, analytics, and user insights to inform decisionsExperience partnering across product and creative marketing teams to deliver a cohesive, seamless customer experienceStrong interaction design and visual problem-solving skills with proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools Ability to balance brand storytelling, usability, and conversion performance when designing customer-facing user experiencesAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via D.R. Horton applicationsAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
