Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, hallways, restrooms, and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste according to hospital policies.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and other essential items.
• Follow established infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality while working in patient care areas.
• Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Full-Time | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

• Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Days Off: Wednesday and Thursday

Weekend availability is required.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital, behavioral health facility, or healthcare environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation practices, and infection control procedures preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Must be comfortable working in a behavioral health hospital environment.
